Una Gran Historia De Amistad Entre Un León, Un Tigre Y Un Oso

Baloo, un oso negro; Leo, un león africano; y Shere Khan, el tigre de Bengala; mayormente conocidos como BLT, fueron descubiertos por los agentes de policía en un sótano de una casa de Atlanta durante un operativo antidrogas en 2001.

En ese entonces, hace ya 15 años, los tres animales tenían pocos meses de edad y estaban "asustados, desnutridos, y se infectaron con parásitos internos y externos" cuando el Departamento de Recursos Naturales de Georgia los llevó al refugio "El Arca de Noé".

Según contó a través de su sitio oficial la asociación protectora, Shere Khan es de los tres el más travieso y siempre busca afecto, "numerosas veces durante el día se frota la cabeza" al cuerpo de "sus hermanos".

Baloo, el oso negro americano, fue quien estaba en peores condiciones al ser rescatado. Debió someterse a una intervención quirúrgica, y esa fue la única vez que los tres hermanos estuvieron separados el uno del otro.

Uno de los datos más llamativos de la relación que ya lleva 15 años entre el león, el tigre y el oso en el refugio "El Arca de Noé" es que en todo este tiempo tan sólo hubo una pelea entre ellos.
